How fun are these. I had a very nice small group of ladies for my World Card Making Day-Saturday October 7th. We met at Bragii Coffee shop (new location, down the street) in Williams Bay. This year, I choose 4 unique techniques for these cards. Starting at the top left, Baby wipes, going to the right, ink pad smoosh, lower right is inked embossing folder. The lower left one is probably my most excited to talk about. We used our New Blends markers. Right now, they are only available to Demonstrators. These cards were great fun to make. I recently demonstrated on my Facebook Page LIVE on how to use the Baby wipe technique so go on over to my business page to view that and more. All are unique ideas and some I have not visited in a long time. But, lets get back to the coloring on my last card. Yes, Coloring is still a wonderful thing. A little history here. Back in late Winter 2015, Stampin’ Up! pulled the Blendabilities markers. At the time I was stunned and a little upset. I loved them. But, there were problems. One that was obvious, they were drying out quicker then normal. They originally came in a pack of three-Light, Medium and Darker tones in each color. The design was great but the cap was not keeping the markers from drying out. Fast forward to early in this month, they are Back!!!! They will come in light and dark and of course coordinate with our exclusive colors. It’s what we are known for. I even missed the initial newsletter regarding this news. I want you to know this was an EPIC moment in my life. Yes, Seriously. I Love them. I am not a COPIC marker person. If it’s not through Stampin’ Up!, I generally do not buy it. It’s how I am and how loyal/true to my company and product. This will be a game changer. Right now, as I mentioned above, it’s only available for Demonstrators. We are giving our feedback/thoughts and true testing by us to Stampin’ Up! I LOVE them. This really is very exciting to me. I like to color. I know many people do. Working with alcohol markers is a bit different then working with water based markers like our Stampin Write Markers. But as soon as they are available, I will go into more details. I will more than likely make a FACEBOOk LIVE for you. It’s Fun. We have a Color Lifter, an Ivory and Bronze for skin tone and of course all those colors. I will absolutely let you know the moment I get the news for all of you to place your order. Exciting right? In the mean time, check out the lovely colors.
Yup-You know I am a Happy Stamper.
On another note-It’s Friday the 13th, a Very Luck Day for my Hubby and I. It’s our 19th Wedding Anniversary. 13 has been a lucky number for us throughout our relationship. We would be placed at table 13 lots of times, numbers on a Hotel room =13, etc. My Wedding band had 13 diamonds. Originally my Hubby asked if it had 13 and the jeweler said no it has 12 but could have added another. My Hubby counted and it had 13 even though the info on the ring said 12. WHAT!!! The jeweler was surprised and of course Don picked it with a beautiful engagement ring. Yup, he is a keeper. It’s the little things that matter. Don is just a wonderful Husband and Wonderful father to our two daughters. I would not change anything. I would marry him again, the same way. So Happy 19 years, Happy Friday the 13th, to us and any other person that enjoys this day, creepy or not. Now, the markers were my early anniversary gift, to ME!! HAH! My being supper Happy, that’s my gift to Don! WIN, WIN!
Now, don’t forget, we have a paper special going on all month long. If you love our Designer Series Papers, this is a great deal for you.
