Snow Day

Finally, It snowed around here. The girls were very happy as was the Snow-Plowing Hubby! My youngest daughter is so confused and asked if Christmas was coming because it snowed. This was the first Holiday season that I can really remember that we did not have Snow, even for New Years. Anyway, Snowflakes are still in as is Snowmen. They carry beyond the Holiday and basically cruise throughout the Winter. I love Snowflakes especially.

Here is another Candy Treat that I whipped up:

You can see my video I made for this so easy treat from an earlier post.

Supplies I used:

No Stamps-Shocking!

DSP: Pocket of Posies #122354 $10.95

Card Stock: Whisper White #100730 $8.50

Sizzlit Decorative Strip Die: Northern Frost #120901 $21.95

Accessories: Ribbon-Retired White 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Basic Rhinestones: #119246 $4.95,

Candy.

I used this recently for a Tip Container for services done. Truly exciting when someone gets a decorated tip!!! It is unexpected. Packaging really is

everything.

Here are some photo's of the storm-or Finally We Got Snow!!!!

The storm is moving across the lake and looks like fog. Normally you can see across- so spooky and yet really cool.

My Bird feeder-Love My Birds!

Enjoy!

Being Grateful

Ok, Finally I have my cards done for my Downline. I sent a facebook note to let them know I would not have Holiday Cards but rather-Happy New Year, Hah! Sometimes the best laid plans, well you know. Anyway, I have another item to add to your packets Ladies and they will go out Tuesday. Of course, I am So Grateful to have a Great team of Gals-The Dairy Best Stampers. Like to be a part of my Team-Click on my Join Me button at the top. See what's in my Specials too.

Here is the Grouping:

Aren't these pretty….

I used the New Labels Collection Framelit Dies (#125598 $26.95) and the stamp set Apothecary Art (W) #125525 $34.95, (C) #125527 $27.95. The colors I used were Marina Mist and Tangerine Tango (apparently the Hot Color for Spring 2012 picked by PANTONE). I like being in the Know-don't you?

I like them so much that this month's Stampers 6 Group will be making a similar card.

ENJOY!

My January 2012 Special + rambling

Do you need some Fresh ideas?

Has it been awhile since you last stamped?

Do you like a different spin on Paper Crafts?

Welcome to My Blog. Perhaps I am what you were looking for. If it's been awhile since you last visited-Welcome back!

Time to ramble a bit. Post Holiday ideas, sorta got burned out and now I am shifting toward everyday ideas and of course-Valentines Day. I even have a few ideas that I put off to the side and need to alter with a bit of stamping so stay tuned for that. I do like to "pick" and have a secret passion for "junkin" and Garage looking! But-if I can not actually use it in my office and surrounding basement space, and it can't be sold right away-it can't come home with me. Orders from the Hubby!!

Lots of things went on at my House in the last three weeks. I finally got my camera back. They gave me a refurbished one and only a 30 day warranty. I miss the days of having a really great item, getting the Warranty that lasted more than 2 years and the quick turnaround on broken parts. Ahh, fond memories. Oh Well. But wait-that isn't a memory-it is Truth and the Now. Apple Computers have a Great Warranty and Consumer Reports has them Always listed as the Best Buy and Top Computers. I Love Apple and have their products for 14 years + in my home. I also miss Steve Jobs. I will continue his belief-Think Differently!! Brilliant!

SO:

I went WIRELESS!!! I got my New IMac Computer-Finally. Wee it is Fast. Insane fast. My Old IMac was almost 7 years old and we could not even update the browser. So, My girls get that machine to putt around on and I get a better upgrade. I am married to Mr Cheap so anyone that knows this-are shocked but Happy for me. I did have to upgrade my Photoshop and that will take awhile to learn but it is worth it.

Another great thing-We got rid of my Fax machine (one of my original prizes from Stampin' Up!®) and have "found space" on my counter top. It was time to lose the 2nd house phone line so mo money in our pocket….

One of my serious goals before Jan. is over, is to have my office space cleaned up and take pictures for you so that you can see where the creating happens. I love storage and containers, as do many of you, and I will have lots of ideas to share with you. Everyone love to see those magazines where the creative space occurs, so do I. My story of how I got mine will be fun to share with you. Stay tuned. Enough about me.

There is a carry over of products from the Holiday Mini.

But right now-The New Occasions Mini is LIVE! Just download the mini on the left side of the screen. You Can Buy whatever you like-but if your hubbie or partner asks-I know nothing!!!!

Now-On to MY January Special!

If you purchase $50.00 in Stampin' Up!® product before taxes-You get this Fun Post -it Note Holder from me. I like to offer a special for those that enjoy my blog and I like to Thank you for Choosing Me as your Demonstrator. If you already have Demonstrator-she or he might like your business back. However, if you do not already have a Demonstrator, then shop away!

That statement is so true and may carry you into an adventure of your own this year. I look forward to sharing new paper crafts and stamped ideas with you in the months to come.

ENJOY!!

Happy New Year 2012!!

Thank you all for a great year. I truly Appreciate YOUR business and your kind thoughts.

I Wish All of you a Very Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New Year!

Enjoy and see you in 2012 with more great ideas to share with you!

Countdown 2 Christmas 2011-Day 5

It is Day 5 and the Final Day Has arrived. I have for you a last minute Decorating idea that is very easy to do.

If you have Mica Flakes (#124115 $3.50-Holiday Mini-Gone by January 3rd, 2012!) left over from all your Holiday Projects-find it and lets get started.

You need an empty Clear Glass votive or jar, the Mica Flakes, and a Flameless candle.

Just empty some flakes into the jar and add the candle.

That's It! Your Done! I added a mirror for under the votive to reflect. It's Pretty isn't it. Not my idea by far but certainly a Fun and Doable idea.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!

&

ENJOY!

Countdown 2 Christmas 2011-Day 4

Packaging-Truly one of my favorite things to design.

Here is my Day 4 idea since I know you have ALL your gifts bought and wrapped and all you have left is those last minute goodies.

Our Pillow box is great for little items, candy, food ideas. But, if you put two together, you have a longer container to put something in, like a really nice Pen for the manly type. So my idea today is dedicated to the males.

The length is now 5 1/2"  X  2" for filling space

Here are the Supplies I used:

Big Shot Die: Pillow Box Bigz Die (#113466 $19.95)

Paper: Designer Series paper (#124002 $10.95)

Punches: Ornament Punch (#119847 $16.95)

Ribbon: Baker's Twine (#123124 $2.95)

             1/8" Taffeta Ribbon-Early Espresso (#119959 $5.95)

Adhesive: Use Sticky Strip (#104294 $6.95) This really holds it together!

Stamp Set: Fabulous Phrases (W) #117002 $37.95, (C) 120501 $26.95

See you tomorrow and ENJOY!

Countdown 2 Christmas 2011-Day 3

Ok, I admit, I skipped a day. Totally not intentional. I have been feeling under the weather, Terrible back pain spasms with stomach pain. Great-Just what I ordered for Christmas!! Anyway-Health is always more important than blogging. But I am here with Day 3 and hoping to Not skip a day again. We have Santa Sticks.

More things to do with those awesome cellophane bags. I made 30 of these for a gal pal for her kids classmates. So Cute. I used Twizzlers, but i have also used Pencils-2 fit perfectly.

I am also sorry the pictures are just not editing correctly. Oh, How I hope the Elves at the Fix-it-shop find out what's wrong and fix it fast.

Enjoy!
