My Valentine Galore Class
A week ago today I had my Valentine Galore class with 13 guests at Caribou Coffee Shop in Downtown Lake Geneva.
Shout out to Deena-Heeey! Thank You again.
Lots of Fun pictures to share with you.
There were 4 cards and the Framed art. Unfortunately, I was not able to have the 4th card for this picture as I had to give it to my customer who was not able to attend the class.
A few items up close:
One of my Favorites:
This was the Big project for the class and a Favorite of all. I Love doing Home decor ideas with paper and stamps. It was super easy. We used the New amazing Heart Collection Framelit Dies (#125599 $26.95). The original idea came from my Stampin' Success Magazine that Stampin' Up!® sends me every month. So many doable ideas that are shared every month-perhaps you are looking to be a Demonstrator now-Perfect time to sign up Today with the $125.00 sale price. See more here.
If you look above my watermark on the above picture you can see part of the 4th card in progress. We used the New Designer Cuts Cards and Envelopes (#125414 $9.95).
Deb and her Awesome Art!
I'm in the Aflac shirt demonstrating.
It was a really great day and I thank all of my Nifty guests who attended. One of them-Carolyn Hofmann signed up with me on January 31st. Congratulations and Welcome to my Group/Team-The Dairy Best Stampers!
Right now there are lot's of people-Guys and Gals, signing up to be Demonstrators because of the $125.00 discount and the Nifty gift of Designer Series Paper or Digital Downloads for a month, every month for a year.
Perhaps you would like to order online from me-$50.00 order (before sales tax and shipping) get you a Free item from the SAB catalog. PLUS-a nifty gift from me-visit my Specials Page Today.
I hope you Enjoyed this LONG Post!
Snow Day

Finally, It snowed around here. The girls were very happy as was the Snow-Plowing Hubby! My youngest daughter is so confused and asked if Christmas was coming because it snowed. This was the first Holiday season that I can really remember that we did not have Snow, even for New Years. Anyway, Snowflakes are still in as is Snowmen. They carry beyond the Holiday and basically cruise throughout the Winter. I love Snowflakes especially.
Here is another Candy Treat that I whipped up:
You can see my video I made for this so easy treat from an earlier post.
Supplies I used:
No Stamps-Shocking!
DSP: Pocket of Posies #122354 $10.95
Card Stock: Whisper White #100730 $8.50
Sizzlit Decorative Strip Die: Northern Frost #120901 $21.95
Accessories: Ribbon-Retired White 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Basic Rhinestones: #119246 $4.95,
Candy.
I used this recently for a Tip Container for services done. Truly exciting when someone gets a decorated tip!!! It is unexpected. Packaging really is
everything.
Here are some photo's of the storm-or Finally We Got Snow!!!!
The storm is moving across the lake and looks like fog. Normally you can see across- so spooky and yet really cool.
My Bird feeder-Love My Birds!
Enjoy!
Being Grateful

Ok, Finally I have my cards done for my Downline. I sent a facebook note to let them know I would not have Holiday Cards but rather-Happy New Year, Hah! Sometimes the best laid plans, well you know. Anyway, I have another item to add to your packets Ladies and they will go out Tuesday. Of course, I am So Grateful to have a Great team of Gals-The Dairy Best Stampers. Like to be a part of my Team-Click on my Join Me button at the top. See what's in my Specials too.
Here is the Grouping:
Aren't these pretty….
I used the New Labels Collection Framelit Dies (#125598 $26.95) and the stamp set Apothecary Art (W) #125525 $34.95, (C) #125527 $27.95. The colors I used were Marina Mist and Tangerine Tango (apparently the Hot Color for Spring 2012 picked by PANTONE). I like being in the Know-don't you?
I like them so much that this month's Stampers 6 Group will be making a similar card.
ENJOY!
Countdown 2 Christmas 2011-Day 4
Packaging-Truly one of my favorite things to design.
Here is my Day 4 idea since I know you have ALL your gifts bought and wrapped and all you have left is those last minute goodies.
Our Pillow box is great for little items, candy, food ideas. But, if you put two together, you have a longer container to put something in, like a really nice Pen for the manly type. So my idea today is dedicated to the males.
The length is now 5 1/2" X 2" for filling space
Here are the Supplies I used:
Big Shot Die: Pillow Box Bigz Die (#113466 $19.95)
Paper: Designer Series paper (#124002 $10.95)
Punches: Ornament Punch (#119847 $16.95)
Ribbon: Baker's Twine (#123124 $2.95)
1/8" Taffeta Ribbon-Early Espresso (#119959 $5.95)
Adhesive: Use Sticky Strip (#104294 $6.95) This really holds it together!
Stamp Set: Fabulous Phrases (W) #117002 $37.95, (C) 120501 $26.95
See you tomorrow and ENJOY!

A Favor Box
Here is the Favor box we made at my Holiday Stamp Camp last week. I think it was a big hit.
Just take two Fancy Favor die cut boxes and place one into the other. I used different Card Stock for everyone to choose from (like Choc Chip and Early Espresso and Whisper White) but always used the Frostwood Lodge DSP. It's a perfect little box for candy treats, gift card, warm mittens, etc. I wish I could say I came up with this idea but I didn't. Every month Stampin' Up!® has these amazing ideas in our Stampin' Success magazine. I loved it but altered the original idea to fit what I had on hand. I plan on showing you another sample in the future when I have the countdown to Christmas ideas next month.
Supplies:
Frostwood Lodge DSP (#124002 $10.95)
Garden Green Smooth C.S. 12 X 12 (#124278 $5.95)

World Card Making Day 2011

On Saturday, October 1st, 2011 was World Card Making Day and 12 guest made these Fun projects:
My guests made a Box with three mini cards and envelopes, a Beautiful Fall card using the Size E Clear Block, Gift card holder, coasters and Home Decor idea. The Big Shot was the biggest tool for this class. I know it is "World Card Making Day" but I always make projects besides cards. We used the brand New Bigz Die Petite Pocket to make a cute gift card or Treat holder with the Pumpkin punched out. Oh so cute! Then we made a fun display for their home using leftover cinnamon sticks. Need to freshen them up-use a nutmeg grater or a nail file/sandpaper to enhance the aroma. The last project was the coasters using the Big Shot Multipurpose adhesive. This project was probably a Favorite. Everyone saw the potential for Holiday Gift Giving.
I also see a chance for me to make a video demonstrating this so easy idea. Plus, a few guests asked if I had info on this as they probably will forget when late November comes up! I will be working on that this week. It is time for a video. I also stated back in July one of my main goals is to have more videos for you. I am working on that for you now that the girls are both in school. I still like stamping and creating Late at night but lately, I am getting a lot more done during the day. Does that ring true for some of you?
So Thank You to My Guests, and those of you who could not make it-I have the projects finished and will be delivering them to you today!!! I also want to send a Shout out to the Demo's who I traded with at Convention and saw on their sites for ideas that inspired theses samples: Sandy Carlson, Gladys Reinks, and Becky Roberts. Thanks so much! You gals Rock. I will send an extra Special Shout out to Sudsol who at Convention sponsored a trading session and Sandy's Box with cards inspired me for this class as well as this Month's Special.

Candy Bar Holder and Tutorial
Hmmm, nothing like a candy bar. A highly decorated candy bar holder, even better!
How is this for Fun. Easy to decorate a Candy Bar of your choice. The bar fits nice and snug. I decided that you should have a picture tutorial for this candy bar holder:
Measurements are:
10 1/4" X 2 3/4" Length
Then score it using our Brand New Simply Scored Tool from the Holiday Mini. I love it.
Simply Scored scoring tool #122334 $29.95-What a Great Gift-To YOU!

Score at 5" and 5 1/4". Then flip and score lengthwise on both sides 1/4".
Then cut those little tabs.

Use your Bone Folder (#102300 $6.95) to smooth back creases.

Snail it! (#104332 $6.95 and refill #104331 $4.50)

Now put it together. Behold…the Box!

Now you want to decorate your box.
I used Basic Black C.S. and Frightful Sight DSP.
Measurements for these are :
4 7/8" X 2 1/8" for the Black C.S.
2" X 4 3/4" for the DSP

Then I used the Big Shot for the die cuts. I used Whisper White and Basic Black C.S.

Then I used Cajun Craze and Lucky Limeade markers to decorate the Candy stamp. TIP ALERT: Don't forget to use your markers. They really are a great tool and you can get so much more out of your stamps. Another reason – I give a pack of markers to my downline when she or he has reached the $1,000 in sales mark within their first 6 months.

Just cut out using the Postage stamp punch.

Next put the two Circle Die Cuts together with snail and added a Ghost. A touch of Lucky Limeade under the ghost adds a bit of shadow, slime, glow, you decide.
Now piece everything together with dimensionals to add a bit of lift. A real 3-D Candy Bar.
.jpg)
Here are the measurements again:
10 1/4" X 2 3/4"
Fold/score/crease 5" and 5 1/4" and then turn and score 1/4" on both long sides.
The outside papers:
4 7/8" X 2 1/8"
2" X 4 3/4"
Supplies I used:
Stamp Set: Spooky Bingo Bits (#123944 (w) $37.95, #123946 (c) $27.95)
Card Stock: Cajun Craze (#119684 $6.95), Basic Black (#121045 $6.95), Whisper White (#100730 $8.50)
Designer Series paper: (#122351 $10.95)
Ink: Staz On Black (#101406 $7.95)

Simply Scored Scoring Tool (#122334 $29.95) +++ Your Next Awesome tool!+++

Just by removing the 4th side of the box on two Milk Carton die cuts, put together and add Hemp Twine and look what you have. You must use a Crease pad with this.TIP ALERT: Need a bit more definition if you have had your machine awhile-add a slip of scrap C.S. between the bottom cutting pad and the die. Every machine is different. But since mine is used a lot, I need this little extra.
Here is the Hemp Twine that I dampened with water and curled around one of my kids plastic paint brushes overnight.

Here is the list of the Supplies I used:
New Designer Series Paper: Spice Cake (#124003 $10.95)
