A Teen Birthday Party

Laura · May 29, 2011 · 3 Comments

My Friday evening this past week was filled with giggles, laughter, excited chatter, and busy creativity. I was the entertainment for Lauren's 13th Birthday party. The girls each got a Blank 5"X5" Journal, a pen, and a Giant paperclip. They would create their own personalized journal, decorative pen, and a Bookmark with our Owl Punch.

Here is the Birthday Girl at the Head of the table.

Get ready, Get Set, CREATE!

I gave them a couple of choices and in the end the Designer Series Paper- Play Date and the New Simply Scrappin' Kit-Playful Polka Dots (from the Summer Mini) were what they truly wanted to dig right into. I also added the Play Date Rub Ons kit. Surprising to me-No Big Shot was used! Shocking-I know! I figured it would be too much. We don't want crafting overload.

Here are just a few of the Amazing Journals the girls created. I am always WOWed with kids ideas when you give them some paper, adhesive, scissors, and stamps. Check this out!

I think I need this gal to give me braiding lessons. Wow!

Just helping out.

Of course there are goodie Bags that I provide. I put these into white handled paper bags with a sample of cardstock and ribbon. They each got a In Color marker and 2 ink spots.

Lauren received one of my Hand Gel boxes with Butter cream Anti Bac gel, along with Brights Watercolor Wonder Crayons.

I hope you enjoyed this little Birthday party share. Lauren- Thanks so much for inviting me into your home and letting me demonstrate a little Stampin' Up!® for you and your friends.
