Countdown to Christmas 2015-Day 2

Laura · December 20, 2015 · Leave a Comment

I have a really great idea for you today. It’s a very useful and needed gift.

You will be making a Note Holder using our Clear mount stamp cases.

Notes,-etc..-Case

You need a 12 x 12 Sheet of DSP of your choice, A clear mount stamp case, a small memo pad, a Kraft Tag a Bag Gift Bag, and a small pen.

What-you-need

If you don’t have a empty case and you want to make this for THIS Holiday season, just go ahead and clean out a few cases that have older stamps in them and add the blank cases on your next order. I’m just being helpful here….

Now Cut a sheet of the DSP down to 7″ x 10.5″. Fit it in between the plastic sheet and case. Close box and then pull it back out. You will have made your creases.

Fit-inside-sheet-and-case

Cut down the rest of the DSP to a 2″ x 10.5″ strip and a 3″ x 5″.

Small-strips

Fold your bag just slightly below the 1/2 way mark. Add sticky strip to the middle and ends of your 2″ x 10.5″ DSP strip. Fold around bag and tape. This is your pocket. Add sticky strip on the back to place inside your case.

Check out the way you can add memos:

Perfect-pocket

Add sticky strip to your memo paper at the top, on the edge, and on the backside. Add your 3″ x 5″ DSP strip. I did not tape this pad to the inside of the case. Easy removal as well as easy to add a new one when you need to.

Top-of-pad

I used the Layered Letters Alphabet and a circle punch.

Notes-etc

Now place all together:

Isn’t this Fun!!

But wait, add some stamping, yes, it’s the set that matches here BUT not required. What ever you have on hand will work just fine!

I hope I inspire you to create a few of these. It’s really easy and you could create as many as you want in a very short time.

I bought my memo pads at Staples along with the pens. I would take your plastic case with you to the store to check and make sure the memo pad fits. All pads are NOT created equal!!!
