Ok, We are nearing the end of my quick and simple Countdown 2 Christmas ideas.
This idea, I Promise, is super easy, useful, practical, that anyone would appreciate it.
A Dry Erase Board.
If you are like me, you find pretty frames at Garage Sales, discount stores, etc. and you put them away until you find a use for them. Nope-it’s not hording, especially if they are organized nicely.
Now’s the time to find one. I suggest an 8″ x 10″ frame.
Next, dig through your favorite 12″ x 12″ Designer Series papers (DSP) and pick out a nice double sided one.
I liked this one from the Floral Boutique DSP. I cut 8″ x 10″ and then made 2- 1″ x 10″ strips with the leftovers.
The other side:
I taped the one side on the bottom to the main piece.
Then I taped the next one to the top.
Now clean the glass on the frame after opening the backside. Use a “swifter” type cloth to remove any fuzz, etc.
Place the side you like down toward the glass, facing out. You may need a thick piece of CS or backing to add to your DSP since it’s so thin. Mine did. Close up.
Turn it around and congratulate yourself on a fine job.
Go ahead, practice with the dry Dry Erase pen.
Once you have played around and realize you need to make one for yourself, lets wrap this up for whomever you are gifting it to.
Now-wasn’t that super easy and quick? I love making these. This one is for a fabulous customer who helped me achieve my December goals. Thanks Deborah K. Your gift will be delivered to you soon.
