A Tasty Treat for a random person

Laura · May 8, 2018 · Leave a Comment

Today’s project was inspired by a fellow Demonstrator-Angie Juda. Plus, I realized I have way to many of these beautiful bags sitting on a shelf, not being used. Time to make a treat for a random person. As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, this is really quite normal. Of course, this is a perfect idea for any home show consultant to do. Random or not, you should make one.

Here is my Picture Tutorial of how I created my treat bag.

These lovely bags are carrying over to the New catalog. YEA!

First, cut off a sliver off the bottom of the bag.

Now place bag horizontally. Score bottom at 1 inch.

Now move bag to Vertical. I put the top of the bag facing down. Score 3/4″ on each side.

Make sure all sides are scored well. Use a bone folder to get crisp sharp edges.

Now, on bottom, cut up to score lines so that you have flaps. Score well.

Add your favorite adhesive to close up bottom of bag. I did use Tear and Tape for the bottom of the bag (#138995).

Add a piece of Cardstock to bottom of bag to stabilize base. I measure bottom of bag and make the piece slightly smaller. Possibly 1-1/2″ X 3-1/8″.

That’s it. Decorate, fill bag with treats, fold over and add clip. Now, give the gift to someone today.

Here is what is inside mine.
