Can you believe that Lovely As A Tree is Retiring?

Laura · April 26, 2019 · 1 Comment

The longest running stamp set is finally saying Goodbye. I can’t believe it. My Kids were not even a thought in my mind when it debuted came out in 2001. It’s funny, every year I would check to see if it made the cut. I knew that when Rooted in Nature made it’s debut last year, Lovely As A Tree’s days were numbered.

If you haven’t purchased this set yet, and you still want it, now is your time to get it. Speaking of retired, I forgot to put the Retired lists up. My Bad! Seriously, really bad that I am so behind right now.

A picture of my Retired stamps only (I didn’t even put the dies or punches next to them).

Please note, many sets are highlighted to show what is being retired but will come back as Cling Mount. Except for the Background stamps, Wood stamps will be gone. So so Sad. I am OLD School, I admit it. I will truly miss New wood stamps — that new wood smell. It’s OK. I have fully embraced CLING Stamps. Certain sets will not permanently retire from my private stash since I still sell Homemade cards as well as commissioned orders; many of my sets will just move to the still loved section. Hubby is not sure when my office started to spill out into the next room! Does anyone else have that problem?

I can not wait for the New Catalog in June. My drawers and shelves are looking very bare and I NEED, WANT, Have to have the New items. I do have a problem. I am a stamp addict. Actually, a Stampin’ Up! Addict. Can you relate?

How about something New beginning next month.
