Hi there, My name is Laura H. H. Zaraza. AKA “Goose”. I am from Lake Geneva, WI, and live along the Lakeshore Path on Lake Geneva. I am Happily married to Don of 16 years+, and we have 2 -Very Active girls (16 & 14.). I have a BFA in Graphic Illustration with an airbrush emphasis from UW-Stevens Point. Proud Pointer!
In the early ’90s, I moved down to the Lake Geneva Area and convinced the Chief in Williams Bay to send me to the Police Academy. Awesome! Don and I met soon after on the job as Police Officers in the Lake Geneva Area. Don retired after 23+ years a few yrs ago and I left law enforcement in the early 2000s. We currently work for ourselves as House Watch and Home Security, odd jobs, etc for the lake life homeowners. In 2016, I joined up with Celebrate Our Town, delivering baskets to New Homeowners in Walworth County. I let the Homeowners know that I am delivering a basket of “Awesome” and that I am one of the small businesses featured in the basket. This has been my side hustle.
I became a Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator in 1997, and my group name is The Dairy Best Stampers! I worked very hard and earned 5 Cruises. To be a part of less than 1% of Demonstrators that have earned trips, that was truly an amazing accomplishment for me. I will admit, it was before children and still had been with Law Enforcement. In 2006, I received a call from the S.U. Co-Founder-Shelli Gardner-Congratulating me on reaching the $400,000.00 in Personal Sales Mark. It was such a thrill to talk with her as well as make this personal milestone, especially since I was a Mom less than a year. In late 2020, during the Covid Pandemic, I hit the $700,000.00 Milestone, Level 1-Recruiting, and helped the team members achieve the next level. Those were the over-the-top goals that I achieved in my 23rd year as a Demonstrator. I’m so grateful that Stampin’ Up! was a big part of many of my customer’s creative time at home.
For me, it’s slow and steady. I have had many moments over the years to be a Full-time Demonstrator and then other times, to be able to pull back and be a hobby demonstrator. I am continually and actively recruiting so that I can grow my team. I am available to my downline by being a phone call, text, and email away. The occasional one-on-one meetup is always available by video call or Zoom since many members are all over the Midwest. I also post on my Facebook team site.
I like to think I’m a little creative and I enjoy showing others that they are too! Don’t let that Arts Degree fool you!!! Anybody can be Creative and do amazing things with that Creativity. Stampin’ Up! helps you to be creative by providing quality products and wonderful ideas. I hope to coach you, help you to achieve great results, whether you are a customer or a team member.
