Hi there, my name is Laura H. H. Zaraza. AKA “Goose”. I am from Lake Geneva, WI, and live along the Lakeshore Path on the shores of Geneva Lake. I have been happily married to Don for 27+ years, and we have 2 adult daughters. I have a BFA in Graphic Illustration with an emphasis in airbrushing from UW-Stevens Point. Proud Pointer!
In the early ’90s, I moved down to the Lake Geneva Area and convinced the Chief in Williams Bay to send me to the Police Academy. Awesome! Don and I met soon after on the job as Police Officers in the Lake Geneva Area. Don retired after 23+ years a few years ago, and I left law enforcement in the early 2000s. We currently work for ourselves, doing House Watch and Home Security, odd jobs, etc., for lake-life homeowners. In 2016, I joined up with Celebrate Our Town, delivering baskets to New Homeowners in Walworth County. I let the Homeowners know that I am delivering a basket of “Awesome” and that I am one of the small businesses featured in the basket. Celebrate Our Town has been my side hustle.
I became a Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator in 1997, and my group name is The Dairy Best Stampers! I worked very hard and earned 5 Cruises. Being among the less than 1% of Demonstrators who have earned trips was truly an amazing accomplishment for me. I will admit, it was before children, and I was still with Law Enforcement. In 2006, I received a call from the S.U. Co-Founder Shelli Gardner congratulated me on reaching the $400,000.00 Personal Sales Mark. It was such a thrill to talk with her and to make this personal milestone, especially since I was a Mom for less than a month. In late 2020, during the COVID pandemic, I hit the $700,000.00 Milestone, Level 1-Recruiting, and helped the team members achieve the next level. Those were the over-the-top goals that I achieved in my 23rd year as a Demonstrator. I’m so grateful that Stampin’ Up! was a big part of many of my customers’ creative time at home.
For me, it’s slow and steady. I have had many moments over the years to be a Full-time Demonstrator, and other times to pull back and be a hobby demonstrator. One would say that I am currently a Hybrid Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, doing craft and Vendor events, selling my handmade greeting cards in local stores, along with private classes. I am actively and continually recruiting to grow my team. I am available to my downline by being a phone call, text, or email away. The occasional one-on-one meetup is always available via video call or Zoom, since many members are across the Midwest. I also post on my Facebook team site.
I like to think I’m a little creative, and I enjoy showing others that they are too! Don’t let that Arts Degree fool you!!! Anybody can be Creative and do amazing things with that Creativity. Stampin’ Up! helps you to be creative by providing quality products and wonderful ideas. I hope to coach you and help you achieve great results, whether you are a customer or a team member.
