Ideas for your home
I love our New Decor Elements and thought I would show two ways to incorporate them into your home. Of course The "Create" definition was a given for my office. I do take this picture to events hence the sorry looking cord. If I hang it from my tent I need heavy duty cord. Daughter #2-17 mo- Addie, recently got to it while I was getting ready for a show and broke the glass. Thankfully she was not hurt but just scared. Note to self-put up the baby gate! No Problem, I ordered the glass and just cleaned up the broken shards. I used a Dark Brown Mat Board, added the Create Definition piece and then embossed the Baroque Motifs in White. I think it turned out Nifty!
The second piece was cased but tweeked. I originally saw it on SUDSOL (a Demonstrators Only Site) and I believe it was shared by a Demo from Kokomo, Indiana. She had the DSP switched. I like it this way and added the extra pieces. The ribbon can always be changed out.
I used the Bella Rose DSP and the Small Life is Good Decor Element. The added extra Bling pieces are from the Pretties Kit. Fun Hat pins.
If you have a space that needs a little umph!, then this is the product for you. I like it that you can just peel it off when you are done. Add something to a mirror. Put it in frames like I did and move it to different spaces in your home. You can add pieces to glass vases, outside picture frames, your doors, even to your car. We even sell Raw vinyl for the Big Shot projects. I plan on doing more with this product in the future and posting it for you. Enjoy.
Tweet Box-Thank you and Giveaway!
I recently made this box with the Sizzix Big Shot-Box #2-Love It!!!
I think it’s my favorite die cut item so far. I love giving gifts and this is the perfect size for a Little Somethin’ Somethin! I did use leftover Easter Chocolate eggs and grass for this treat box as well as the display. I recently had an encounter with a gal who gave me some Fabulous Customer service for product I was buying-in the old fashioned Consumer world. I in turn gave her this little box along with some info on Stampin’ Up! "Oh the look of joy on her face". Yes-I do carry items with me just in case because I like to reward those out there who deserve it. I enjoy Customer Service when done Well. I am of course a Shameless Demonstrator who loves to tell everyone out there about Stampin’ Up!®. SOOOOOO.

Hello Spring!
Hello there and Happy Easter.
I thought I would include a Really Great idea from Stampin’ Up!®. This Home Decor idea is Totally "Cased" and Copied from our March issue of Stampin Success Magazine for Demonstrators.
Thanks to some friends of my Hubby Don, I was able to get a bunch of wood blocks made from recovered pier wood. So easy to make too. I painted the Wood with Acrylic Paint, then added Textured cardstock, Glued with our Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive #110755 for $3.95. I used Walk in the Park Designer Series Paper #115123 for $9.95, as well as Summer Love Rub-On’s #114620 for $11.95. I used Clear window sheets #114323 for $4.95 for the butterfly attachment. I added the butterfly rub-on to the clear window sheet, trimmed out then added with Dimensionals. I used My Sizzix Big Shot for the Letters-Serif Essentials Alphabet #113464 $149.95 (I know-Expensive Right-But Oh So Worth It). I also used the Naturally Serif #113453 for $19.95 on the smaller block. .jpg)
These are the up close pics of this Nifty project. I hope you like it. If you like it a lot-just order everything that I have listed. No Big Shot-use one of our Alphabet sets, although stamped, you can do a 50% smaller version.
I Love Stampin’ Up! I have seen some Wonderful ideas on the Company Website as well as our Monthly Magazines. These ideas are there to help me succeed in being an Awesome Demonstrator. I am inspired often and I hope My Blog inspires you. Have you done something Creative today? If not-Quick-Stamp an envelope, even if it’s a Bill!
Kid’s B-day Parties!
For the last 11 years that I have been a Demonstrator I have also added Kid’s Birthday Parties to my list of things I do. I have found that many Demonstrators shy away from these kind of parties because they do not usually bring parents or bring in any future home show parties from the Mom’s. I have found that to be about 35% true! The main reasons for me do these type of parties, is that it gives me more patience, being more creative in coming up with projects for that age level, the kids are excited because of what they make and that, I believe, makes for a much better Demonstrator.
Any way-here is what I do. I make the invites for the party (or not if you already have some) and drop them off to you or you can send me the address list. I can also do at the last minute-"Hey the kids are bored and the parents need to go see a movie" Party!
I charge $16 per child and I ask that there are at least 6 kids and up to 15 at the most. Depending on the age and projects, I usually am at the event for 1.5-2.5 hours. Please Note-I Do Not Provide The Cake!!!!!! Although I have been known to sample some!!
I make sure that there are three projects per their age level. Projects in the past include decorating mugs, stamping pillowcases, altering notebooks/journals (great for the teen’s and tweens!), and frames. Scrapbooking ideas, cork board /chipboard holders and the list goes on.
I have had all girls parties, all boys and mixed. I try to keep them entertained and overall they create and learn something in the proccess.
Each child gets a goodie bag filled with Non-Candy items. Hosting Child will get a stamped gift from me as well.
Depending on time, I can even have a quick game with door prizes.
Here are some examples of invites as well as a goodie bag that I have on hand at the moment. They always change.
So, plan your party and book with me today. Now if this sounds all well and good but you would like to do your own thing-shop the catalog today for some Wonderful Rubber stamps that fit your party plan.
Ahhh-April.
So, did you know that the Big Shot is my Favorite Stampin’ Up!® Tool of all time?!!! It truly is. It is probably why I just started my First Big Shot Club classes in March. If you are interested in joining, just check my calendar for my classes and email me today to sign up. If you have a machine, the class is $10, but if you have one through me-Class is $5. Want one? We divide up the cost into 4 months and each month you can come to a class (I have repeat classes in case you missed one) and learn more about your cool and awesome machine. In April we will be working on a couple of card ideas and of course, working with the clear acetate window sheets that we now sell. Just sign up anytime.
