Bear Treat Jar
June is always busy so that’s why you haven’t seen New Posts. So for the Last Day of this month-I thought it would end with a Fun and Oh so cute jar. This treat idea I cased from Sudsol and love it. I am using our Fun Scallop Punch and aray of circle punches. Colors are Close to Cocoa, Creamy Carmel, and Black. I added those tasty bear grahams cookies. My Daughter Victoria will be 4 on the 7th of July and we are having a Birthday party for her. I have a few of these great jars from Ikea and have decided to use these as one of the goodies to go home with. Enjoy.
Stamp-A Stack at Tickled Pink.
It was time to have a Stamp -A-Stack class. I had not had one since a year ago May. I have classes and stamp camps but decided to try this fun and exciting but time consuming class/event again. It always challenges me to get ideas and of course deliver for my customers. We had this great class at the Tickled Pink Antique and Coffee Bar in Williams Bay, WI.
Gorgeous-Yes! Wonderful place to spend time, Shop or eat in, or to go-Stop in if you are in the Williams Bay area.
That’s Tonilyn Sperry-Owner of this Nifty Joint! She is inspecting what we made (I know-it looks like people came-stamped and left in a hurry) and is admiring the ideas.
I had 10 registered but 9 guests in attendance. The themes were Thinking of you, Birthday (masculine/feminine), With Sympathy, and Graduation and Generic. It was a tight fit but we ALL played well with one another and no one got stabbed with paper snips!! Although-Margie-you left your Left handed Scissors behind and I am holding them hostage! Just Kidding! I’ll call ya!
Here we have my Favorite tool-The Big Shot-Which had three major uses in this class. Now it goes with me to every Workshop along with our Idea Book and Catalog. (NEW ONE OUT IN JULY) Yes-I was shouting!!! :0)

Of course Great Coffee is served here at Tickled Pink along with FAB Sandwiches, etc. Seriously-Stop there for one of there Awesome drinks or food items. They serve a Great Rasberry Scone. Love It…
Just a few photos of this Great event. This last photo of the Thank you card was intended for With Sympathy but the guest chose to brighten things up a bit. Hey-being a former cop-I’m not in any shape or form in denial of Death. I believe it is always good to show and offer to demo these type of cards as sooner or later-I actually won’t be just demonstrating the idea-I may have to send one off to a loved one or dear friend.
Anyway-Just wanted to show you all a bit of what you missed. I think I might have to do another in the fall. Talk to you all soon and Enjoy.
Stampin’ Up!® and YouTube collide!

Check it out today. I just love the computer!!!
Bright Delight Rub-on’s only Class.
A week ago Wed. I had a Rub-on-only Class called Bright Delights using same named rub-on’s. I charged $12 to make 4 cards and 1 gift item using our Sizzix Bigz Die-Bag with Scallops. The original idea came from Patty B. of www.pattystamps.com. I cased but then tweeked with what I had on hand. Just from these women and who they showed the projects to, I am now planning a Holiday Rub-on only class in the fall.
The colors used were In-Colors-Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss, and Summer Sun. DSP was Good Morning Sunshine and A Walk in the Park. If these colors intrest you-get them this month before they are gone. What stunned the ladies who came to this class was the awe of using NO STAMPS. Our Rub-on’s are Very High Quality and stay where you put them. If you remember the rub-on’s from the 70’s-these are Not them!!!! So much better. Try some today.
More Decor Elements-A Tray!
I think it’s been a little too long since my last post. So Sorry. But here-this will make up for that. What we have is a $12.95 White Tray from a Big Box Store. I recently had purchased these Eclectic Circles from our decor elements line and really had not found the item to put them on. So they sat for about a month. Of course-walking into target put an end to that. I saw this tray and knew it would be the perfect surface as well as something to bring to workshops and events.
Hey-it’s me!
I was at Sue’s wonderful home (fab. customer and Kind friend) where we meet for our Stamper 6 Group in Beloit, WI. This was part of the demonstration for those still thinking about using our decore elements vinyl.
In this next photo I am showing the preperation for applying the vinyl. First-scrape the burnishing tool onto the sheet and burnish the image onto the transparent sheet.
Next, I cut mine apart since I wanted to apply them where I wanted to. Sometimes you can save a piece for later use. It’s yours, put it on something the way YOU like to.
So now it is burnished, cut apart and now ready to apply-just peel-Gently. If it does not want to separate onto the transparent paper-burnish again. Now it should be ready to pull apart.
Next, I placed the circle onto the tray. I burnished the image again then peeled-Very Gently-the transparent paper away from the vinyl circle.
Tip-Pull back the transparent paper as close to the image as possible. If anything is still stuck on the paper-put the paper back-burnish-then pull paper back again. This informational tip is of course after 2 years of working with Vinyl in a sign shop in Stevens Point, WI.
Ta-Da!!!
It’s your turn! Make something Beautiful today.
