The need for more …flower stamps

I know, you have “tons” of flower stamps. I say why not another one.

Adding-Wink-of-Stella

Yes, it’s true, flower stamps are always a big hit and the most popular on a card. I have probably 15 sets of flower stamps in my collection. Each one is really different-So I explain to my hubby and my tax guy every year.

The Irresistibly Floral Suite found on page 126 & 127 is just what you need.

How’s this for a beautiful Birthday card:

I added a butterfly with a bit of shimmer and the greeting came from Mixed Boarders stamp set.

I put a watercolor wash on the watercolor paper with the two main colors, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum. Then I used the Bold Butterfly Framelits to cut out. Once dried, I added the Wink of Stella. Have you tried one of these pens yet? It’s so easy to add a bit of shimmer without going over the top.

***** There is an important feature to notice on this set. There are marks on the stamps to show you where the framelits line up.

Here is the cute little flower stamp. Notice the black marks on the stamp and the tab on the framelit:

Why should you care?

Here is an example of this flower set. I was stamping and coloring and then sort of lined up the flower. As you can see, there is a difference:

If you want it just right, you can line it up perfectly with the tabs.

As you can see-lined up just right.
