Hello Stamping Enthusiests.
Welcome to my Stamping Blog. Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Laura H. H. Zaraza and I live in Lovely Lake Geneva, WI. I am known in these parts as an Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator for 11+ years. What will you expect to see on my blog will depend on time and specials, both from me and Stampin’ Up!®. I hope to create a spot where you can see fun stamping ideas as well as getting a sample of my tips and tricks that I have learned over these few years.
Let me take you back to when it all started. I can remember the moment "The Stamp" talked to me. It was 6th grade. One of my sisters was going to KSU and I tagged along to help Mom get her situated to dorm life. We made a trek to the Union Hall Bookstore where the office/school supplies alone made me dizzy. (yup- I’m one of those people-Just get me a Gift Card to Staples!!!) There were a few stamps with ink pads there among the markers and colored pencils. After begging and pleading to Mom that I Needed a stamp and a Very Blue ink pad-the rest is History. It was Nice bird stamp-I believe it was a kind of old fashioned style swallow. I stamped that thing everywhere. Schoolbooks, bedroom door, made my own stationary, etc. Years and hundreds of stamps later I would work in a stamp store in Lake Geneva, WI, as well as becoming a Stamp Representative for All Night Media.
Then I was introduced to Stampin’ Up!®. Someone saw my collection of stamps and then gave me info to a gal in MI and the rest is History. I live in a rural area and of course there are a few Dairy farms in WI don’tcha know! So my Group name is The Dairy Best Stampers. I have had more fun teaching and sharing stamping to all kinds of people over the years. A large group of my stamping fans has been teachers. I realized they are always interested in learning something new too. I think that is why I love to do what I am doing-teaching the Art of Stamping.
Ok-Little secret that is not so secret. I have a BFA in Graphic Illustration and Design with an Airbrush emphasis. So your thinking-hey I just stamp or I am not creative. The one thing I am sure of-Everyone has a bit of Creativity in them. Anyone can stamp and you do not have to have ANY prior experience.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you visit again.
