Halloween Popcorn Treats.

Laura · September 29, 2009 · Leave a Comment

I love making these oh so easy treat pacs. I originally used them for Christmas but realized it’s perfect for all Seasons and all times of the year. Halloween is a Fun Holiday for me and I love the way these turned out. As always-I hope to spark your creativity.

Note-See my Last minute Special at the end of this thread………………………………

Dimensions are 9 1/4" x 7" and scored at the 2 1/4" X 6 1/2". Add sticky strip along inside overlap panel and close. Punch hole with a small punch-I used my Crop-A-Dile tool. Then added a long strip of Ribbon-I used Grosgrain. Open top and place ribbon inside -Will look like a U (loosely) and pull out ribbon ends out opposite sides of paper pack. Then insert microwave popcorn (I used a Mini pack or Personal size). Push down inside-Tie the ribbon on top into a bow or a knot. Sometimes it is helpful to add a note that says Pull Here!!

Add a Gift card to the popcorn inside and make it a Fun Gift! You could could even make this the card or tag of a gift.

My favorite one so far is the Bite one pictured here.

Here is the list of Supplies:

Stamp sets-Twick or Tweet (#116497 $18.95) and the Happy Halloween Greeting came from House of Haunts (#111574 $22.95)

Paper– Specialty Designer Series Paper (Night and Day #116768 $11.95) I also used our Whisper White C.S. 40 (#100730 $7.50), Basic Black C.S. (#102851 $7.95) and Lovely Lilac (#100427 $5.50)

Ink: I did emboss the Black saying using Versamark and Black embossing powder but you can also use the Staz-On Black Ink (#101406 $7.95) that I used for the Skeleton.

The "Bite" was created with our Scallop Circle Punch (109043 $15.95) Fun Huh!!!

The ribbon was our Grosgrain-Lots of colors found on page 183 in the catalog.

The main image was created using our Exclusive Top Note Die (#113463 $21.95) LOVE this Big Shot Sizzix item!
