So my daughter Victoria had a Birthday party to go to this past Sunday. It was for her friends Ben and Tim-2 Crazy but delightful twin boys in her Kindergarten class. I did something similar awhile back for an adult card but decided to create a Child like feel.
I used our In Color's Concord Crush and Pear Pizzazz Card stock and ink pads. I also used the Jumbo Wheel Classic Stars (#111254, $8.50) which turned out just great. I did use copy paper for the inside so that it would not be too thick when it closed. I think it turned out perfect for two very active boys. Oh and of course a Very light touch of Glitter. See everyone-you do not always have to BUY a card-even for kids. You may have the items in your craft area right now. Just choose the colors to reflect masculine or feminine and see what you come up with.
Here is up close of inside the card. I used a circle punch to cut out a Whisper White piece of Card stock and proceeded to cut out a swirl. The taped down with Snail Tape and added the stars to the top. It gives a jiggle and pop up effect. It's Just under my Watermark. I also used the Stars #2 Big Shot die (# 113461, $15.95) for cutting out the inside of the large stars that I used from the Star-Extra Large Punch (#119875, $16.95).
ENJOY!
