A Tasty Treat is today's idea.
I made my favorite cereal mix today. It isn't Chex mix, it's Crispix Mix. I do change it a bit to make it my own.
Isn't this Yummie!
But you have to package the Yummie in something fun.
How's this:
This is the Fancy Favor box with a separate little bag for the inside treat.
Yummie treat.
I Stamped the image and then used the Big Shot to cut out the Label.
Delicious and Fun to give.
Supplies I used:
Stamps: Friendship Preserves (w) #127910 $21.95, (c) # 127913 $16.95
Ink: Early Espresso #126974 $5.95, Lucky Limeade Stampin Marker (2011-2013 markers #123002 $17.95)
Paper: Very Vanilla C.S. #101650 $8.50.
DSP: Candlelight Christmas #126901 $12.95
Sizzix Die: Fancy Favor Bigz XL #115965 $39.95 (I used the Extended Crease Pad with this as well as a extra sheet of Card Stock under the die).
The Crispix Mix
7 cups Kelloggs Crispix Cereal
1 cup Mixed Nuts
1 cup Pretzels
3 tablespoons butter melted
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon onion salt
2 teaspoons lemon juice
4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Combine the Cereal, nuts and pretzels in a 13 X 9 X 2 inch baking Pan. Set aside. Stir the other ingredients and pour over cereal mixture. Stir until evenly coated. Bake at 250 degrees about 45 min. Stir every 15 min. Spread on paper towels to cool. Store in an airtight container. Yields 9 cups.
I add Square pretzels, thin sesame sticks and 1 extra teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce. I like it with bite.
Now put it in something cute.
Enjoy!
