Getting ready for a boutique

Laura · April 20, 2013 · Leave a Comment

I have been working hard and creating like a mad woman for the last 2 weeks. I have been invited to a really cool and what just might be the biggest Upscale event I have ever been to. Here is a picture of the 200 card packets I made in 4 days to be put in the swag bags. I invited my Gal Pal Kathy Roen who sells L'Bri skincare products-A local company I might add, to share this experience with me. She is the most Glamorous Gal I know. Hoping a bit of her rubs off onto me! ;0) Hah. We are sharing the 16' booth. Here is a picture of all the 400 goodies bags of her's and mine in the trunk. I ended up driving to Oak Brook, Il to drop them off since the Post office or UPS would have been too much for overnight. It was almost like getting ready for convention! Whew! Coffee, Coffee, band-aids( Mr. Trimmer Tool and I had a battle), Too many packs of White Card stock, and lots of my scraps, which was really great.

This event is the Oak Brook Woman's Club -"The Best of The Best " event. My goal is to have plenty of Homemade cards, My Dry Erase Boards that I am known for, cute little Queen for a day jars, and some really fun Post-it Note pads. When you are a part of event that people like to shop-possibly over 400 people-I need to have an interesting but very different choices of Cash and Carry. I believe there are 10 Jewelry booths, 1 Pampered Chef, a Mary Kay, and US! Of course I will have several "Have a Workshop with Me" kits, and a few of the new Starter kits of My Paper Pumpkin. They should be here on Monday so I can take a picture for you to show you what these look like. Here is a peek at a couple of my Post It notes:

Hope you liked. So, back to creating.

ENJOY!
