Keeping it simple, is still the best way to do things.
Are you having a little Shindig this New Years Eve? Maybe a large group or perhaps just two or maybe even a party of one!
Here are a few ideas that you can put together, even last minute. Sometimes the best parties Are the last minute ones.
I like to have some kind of New Years Decorations that I make myself. I recently searched local haunts for this Holiday. None! We do not have the usual chain party stores nearby-probably about 45 minute drive but I do not have time for this. Plus, if I bring my girls-it will just begin to cost too much as they will want all sorts of things. I know some of you "know" what I mean.
I have an area in my basement that I store things that I buy with coupons or get on deep discounts or after Holiday sales. The Charger is one of those things. Many people use these for under their plates for Holiday meals. Not me. We are too casual for this and I use it instead as a Decorative piece.
I whipped this up in about and hour and half. Yes, it helps to have everything on hand. Even if you do not have everything, perhaps you have some and you too can whip up something quick.
I took pictures last night and a couple with natural light this morning. Lots of photo's here but I thought you might like to see it all.
Do you like my floating stars effect?
Here is the secret to my stars-Window sheets-cut into long strips and glue dotted in the back.
My Snowflake Tag (Made with Silver and Gold Foil Papers) on the lil bottle of Champagne.
How about some Candy treats for guests to take with them.
How about up close:
A little something I made my downline. Hmm. what's that design? Looks new?! And it is. I can't show it yet but this is one of our New Punches featured in the New Celebrate "The everyday catalog" that will go Live on January 3rd, 2014. So amazing. Wonderful but you will see it soon enough.
So-With that-I wish you all a Very Happy New Year. May it bring nothing but Good things to all. and May God Bless all of you.
+++ And with 2 former Cops in this house-PLEASE, PLEASE, Have a Safe Holiday and Have a SOBER Driver to bring you home. +++
That's it.
See you in 2014!
ENJOY!
