Well, Today is My Birthday and in the past week, my 5th Blog Anniversary. I started this Blog to share my ideas, my love of stamping as well as sharing what's New with Stampin' Up!®.
I have decided to Celebrate both of these events with some Fun Blog Candy.
This includes the Honeycomb Folder and In-Color Cardstock. The value of this pack is $25.00. AWESOME!
All you have to do is Comment at least once on my stamping posts during the next 5 days and I will pick a winning comment. You can certainly post more then once during the 5 days. That's it! Super Easy.
So, Let's get started with a Celebrate Candle:
Here is what you need:
A strip of DSP and 2 scallop flower pieces. (Every candle is different so just put a scrap piece to measure before using a good piece). One scallop punch flower will need to be poked in center and then make an X about 1/4" long.
Then gently press down onto candle tip.
Now, Gently push down on petals on the sides.
Now, with second punched scallop flower, press into bottom piece so that you know where the turn on switch is. That piece can be cut out with a punch you have on hand.
Add dimensionals to glue on.
Now, punch out small scallop flowers, then use a pencil or round edge of pen or poker tool and twist. This gives the flowers a "cupped" look. Add glue Dots and attach onto top of cake.
I added Pearls for the Final touch. Or Rhinestones if your like that! Cute.
ENJOY! and have a fun week and Good Luck!

Thank you for sharing the sweet “candy” with your readers. Funny how on blogs the presents go the opposite direction isn’t it? 😀
Thanks too for the excellent tutorial on how to create these very fun cakes. Love it! Birthday hugs – J.

Laura; Happy Belated Birthday! Your tea light birthday cake was adorable; along with the masking Butterfly card and the Rolo flowers. I will be making the flowers for our Easter table this year. I have enjoyed your Emails and cute idea for a long time. It was either last year or the year before for Easter I made your Flower Punched Bird Nest Baskets idea and everyone loved them. Looking forward to seeing more ideas. PS I also like reading about your girls; water and wildlife stories.
