A Floral Birthday Card

Laura · April 2, 2014 · Leave a Comment

Happy

Bring Spring on. I think it will be at least 50 Degrees today. I am Ok with that. Just filled all my bird feeders, had to take a break for two weeks due to Deer coming out of the woods and taking them over. I am going to have to get more suet, my supply of 80 are gone. The woodpeckers are flying all around and giving me the eye, if that's possible. Since there are no flowers breaking the ground yet here in Lake Geneva, WI, I am putting them on cards. Just a fun idea I found once again on Pinterest. I forgot to pin her and have no idea who to give credit to, sorry. Have you been on Pinterest. Seriously-A Huge Suck of Time but so much easier then cutting pics out and filing them away or putting on a corkboard. This saves Paperwork, printing costs and just takes up a little time in your day. If you are a New visitor-Make sure you have plenty of down time to enjoy it. CLick here 'cause I'm on Pinterest-and you can click on my Pinterest Widget on your lower left of this blog. You can check out what I like.

Ok, On to the card at hand:

A Floral Birthday Card

I made a second one and added a bit of Strawberry Slush ink on the edge with a sponge. It adds just a bit of color against the white Cardstock.

BUNDLE & SAVE 15% with this Set and Punch: #132727 $33.95 (Wood Bundle), #132726 $28.75 (Clear Bundle).

Directions:

The White Cardstock is cut in 1/2.

Fold one peice -5 1/2" X 8 1/2".

I cut 1" off the 5 1/2 of the front of the card.

Now run it through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder.

Stamp out different colored flowers.

Punch out.

Now-Handy Tip Alert:

This particular set can be bundled with the punch. But, did you know in order to line up the punch perfectly, you need to have the stamp stamped right?

Let me show you.

Look at where I placed a Black Dot. Look at every flower stamp and you can see where the Punch will line up.

Dot-them-all

Stamp the Flower stamp

Line up the flower

See how the Punch will line up. Perfect punching every time.
