Occasionally, I am commissioned to make greeting cards by corporations, private parties, customers and friends. These two cards were for a friend.
My friend Lisa asked me to make these for her to give at two graduation parties this past weekend. She told me she would rather give me the money than go drive to the store, pay for two cards, with the same designs that are featured in every card store. Mine would be unique and Handmade.
Yes. Handmade and Made with USA products. That’s important to me as well as a number of my customers.
So, I created 2 cards, one for a boy/young man and one for a girl/young woman.
A retired stamp that was so perfect.
Hey, I even made the tassel without looking on the internet for a how to video or tutorial. That was pretty good because it’s been a long time since I last made one of these. Once again, retired Big Shot Die.
Lisa really loved them. Each person received a unique card that I can guarantee no one else gave.
Remember this the next time you make a card for someone. That card was made by you for them. It’s special. The person receiving it knows that too.
Go ahead, create a card or two today!
Here are the current items I used for these two cards.
