I know you are waiting for Sept 1st to come so that you can order from the Holiday Catalog. Me Too. Yikes this year is going quick. My Favorite times of the year is coming, Autumn, and The Holiday Catalog ordering. I realize some of you may be new to stamping or new to Stampin’ Up!® and you may not realize how excited a lot of people are right now. This New Holiday Catalog is just AMAZING. I know, I know, I know, I do say that every year, but I really mean it this year. If you have not received one yet-contact me ASAP and I will get one out to you right away.
I thought you might like another sneak peak of an item offered in the New Catalog. Yup, I’m going right to a Holiday item.
An Ornament.
I glued a bit of Silver Metallic Thread in between the 4 ornaments so that I can hang it. When I saw this set of thinlits, I thought about Blue ornaments. The Pacific Point really made this ornament beautiful and exactly what I hoped to make. No stamping here. It is perched on top of a candlestick holder. I used our New Precision base plate. Ah yes, fun new stamping toys. So far I’m fine with using it. I will say that making this ornament was very easy first time out and the pieces easily popped out of the thinlit. I used a tool to poke the pieces out and none of them got stuck and there was not tearing. Both of my Big Shot machines need shims of some sort since I have used them a lot over the years. One is from October 2008 and the other is from 2013. Your machine is unique to you so YOU will need to find what works for you when using this item. Practice, practice, practice.
Here are the supplies I used:
I love how this turned out and can’t wait to make more.

I really love your ornament and want to give it a try. You said you cut 4 ornaments. Did you fold them in half and then glue them? The color is just gorgeous…. I can see a white flocked tree covered with these ornaments. Thank you for sharing your creativity
