I can’t believe how time is flying around here. Today is the last day of Autumn, but no one wants to hear about that. Boooo! I love Autumn and will miss it so. Until next year….
You want only info on last minute Stampin’ Up! Holiday quick gifts, right?!
Ok, First day of my last minute Christmas ideas shall begin.
So, did you finish your Christmas Cards? You didn’t start? You might think it’s too late. Nah. Better late then never. Maybe your handing them out in person. Let me show you that in 1 1/2 hrs you can get more than 24 cards made. Perfect project if you have some young daughters wanting to help, or some friends over for coffee. Lets get started.
It begins with a simple and quick design/pattern:
Even if you didn’t purchase this years Holiday papers, you may have last years still sitting in the package. Not Judging.
I’m using This Christmas Specialty DSP, Garden Green CS, and Very Vanilla CS, & Rhinestones.
Cut your Garden Green CS to 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″. You should have a full pack 8 1/2″ X 11″ ready to go.
You will pick out your design and then cut your 12 X 12 DSP into strips of 4″X 5 1/4″. You can get 6 of these per sheet and with 4 pages with the same design, you can get 24 sheets.
First layer:
Stamp a greeting onto very vanilla CS and then layer onto smaller Garden Green C.S.
Add Rhinestones in corners for an added touch.
Jazz up your rhinestones by coloring them. Our regular Stampin’ Write markers will not work since they are water based. Instead, use permanent alcohol based markers like Sharpie.
Wait for them to dry (just a few moments) then place on your card with tweezers.
It really can add that little something to your card
