Countdown to Christmas 2017-Day 1

Laura · December 20, 2017 · Leave a Comment

Welcome to my Annual Countdown to Christmas. Basically, in 5 days, I have created fun ideas for you that you can make last minute. So, let’s get started.

Today is all about the tags. Lots of tags. I know that you are busy, finishing up shopping, then wrapping up those gifts. Of all the supplies that you have bought through me/Stampin’ Up!, the punches are the quickest and easiest to use. Just take a few moments and make a few eye-catching tags.

These are simple-black and white with Old Olive as the standout color. It isn’t always about red and green. I used three main punches, our Fabulous trimmer, two stamp sets, DSP, Whisper White Cardstock, twine, a coordinating punch and black ink.

Here are the back of the tags:

I used the Everyday Label punch to create blank white writing space on the back. Measurements for your tag: trim your green plaid piece to 1 7/8″ X 4 1/2. It’s a hair smaller then 2″ because you want to get it into the punches easily.

First I slid one end into the Banner Triple Punch to create the tails.

Next I slid the other side into the Scalloped Tag Topper.

That’s it. That is the base tag. Now you can use added pieces to layer from this DSP.
