Where have 25 yrs gone?

On August 13th, 1997, Stampin’ Up! received and processed my Contract. I have been an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for 25 years. Where did the time go?

During that time, I had been working as a Police Officer, met Don on the job, Don and I started dating, and I still lived in my family’s Condo. I married my Hubby- Don, Flew for the first time ever and saw the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans for the first time. I have been to many conventions, On Stage, earned a few Cruises for sales, had two daughters, Earned Sales Awards, I’m entertainment for Kid’s parties, Stamp and Sip Parties, Stamp clubs, classes, and Stamp Camps. Both my Mom and My Mother-in-law passed. My Kids will both be in Highschool together this year. WOW!

I have been a Hobby Demo and a Business Demo on and off as life has been interesting with its ebb and flow. I have recruited 40+ Demonstrators over the years: a couple-several times and one over five times. (You know who you are!!!! Ha Ha!) My Group name is The Dairy Best Stampers. It’s been an absolute JOY to be a Demonstrator. That New Catalog smell always gets me. New DSP and stamps-The Joy!! Every year the guess of New In Colors, it’s a thrill. I have seen and been through many changes with the company. 99% have been all good. I have never been interested in joining other MLM companies. It’s only been and continues to be-Stampin’ Up! I am still on my journey toward the million mark. I still have a ways to go (around 260,000.00 or so). I will get there. I will achieve this goal. I also plan on having more downlines with groups of their own. That has been harder to achieve, but I always hope a Demonstrator like that is in my future downline.

I posed with the catalog that started it all for me and the current one. The year I joined, Stampin’ Up! was 9 yrs old and had finally had its very own stamp designs, ink, and paper.

Of course, the windswept look was not good, so I went inside for the pic above.

The best comment ever was when I signed up; Don looked at me and said, is this a pyramid scam (says the Cop!)? I said No, as it wasn’t. I did my research. He then asked, was this a little stamping company, a Hobby? Of course, dear!
