Sometimes Life Happens-HARD!
Those plans I made to do more this year with Stampin’ Up! classes, etc., are all out the door. First, my hubby, Don, ruptured his right Achilles in February. I have been his chauffeur throughout the year.
I have been MIA because I have been looking after my husband. Long Story Short. Early in the month, Hubby Don shattered his Right kneecap. Had surgery and was allowed to go home. Big mistake. At three in the morning, he felt great because of all the drugs, went to the bathroom on his own, no walker. I was so tired after all the days before He finally saw the doctor that I was sleeping like the dead. Don yelled at me from the bathroom, and I am not quite sure what he did. He completely undid everything the doctor did in surgery. I can not even put in all the emoji faces that need to be in here! He had to have surgery again-to fix everything-AGAIN! I know this has really changed things going forward for his lawncare/plowing business. He works too hard, and I think it’s time to retire from all of it. 69-been working 63 years.
Just celebrated 28 married years together. What a year this has been. Good and Bad-I am here for all of it. So I have been looking after him and haven’t been able to send newsletters; my Facebook Lives have had moments when I am totally scatterbrained, stopping to run up and help for a moment, then getting back on the live feed. It doesn’t matter when I go Live; he always needs help, and it’s tough because he is 69 years old but acts like a 7-year-old who’s been told to stay where he is but doesn’t. Can any of you relate?
I am a great wife, just not a very good Nurse. Looks like we will be getting some home care shortly-YAY!!!!!
