Faith Shadow Box
I think this turned out Great. I orginally saw the idea on the Stampin’ Up® Website. The ideas were shared by one of my favorite people-Pam Morgan at Leadership. The idea was passed on and I took it and ran with it. The only think I did different was the Small Faith instead of the Medium size they used. I gave this to my Niece (also my Godchild) who just Graduated Concordia College, Mequon, WI. last Weekend. She even has a Job-YEAH!!!. It is in Lincoln, Nebraska-far away from Palatine, IL. It’s Ok-Nebraska was listed as the Happiest state in America. Anyway, she got a job as a Lutheran school teacher. I am so proud of her. I decided to give this and quickly wipped it up 20 min before having to leave. Yup-Last minute chick here. In college-Same way. My best always came days before the project was due rather in the beginning when the project was assigned. If you are an art major or finishing up or just starting out-Ignore all that! :0) Enjoy this photo.
I will mention I used the S.U. decor elements-Inspiration for $4.95 in Chocolate. I bought the shadow box from Ikea. I used my Big Shot Beautiful Butterflies $21.95 and Textured Black C.S. Urban Oasis for the Background D.S.P. I now have the leftover Love, Life and Hope. I still have a White Shadow Box and will have to come up with something. Stay tuned!
Craft Fair ideas.
This past Mother’s Day weekend I worked an upscale boutique Booth-a.k.a.-Nice Crafting event! It was located at the old Interlaken resort-Now-The lodge of Geneva Ridge-off Hwy 50, Lake Geneva, WI. I mention this because in the fall there will be another event during Deer Widows Weekend. For those of you outside of the midwest/western states-that’s the weekend before Thanksgiving! The event was fun and lots of guest came through. Since it was at a resort-there were over 300-400 reserved for Brunch and those that stopped in off the street. I sold a lot of "last Minute" Mother’s Day cards. Hey-At least they bought Quality and not from a Gas station rack! So enjoy some of these items I sold at the event. Sorry-I forgot to take pictures of the actual booth but have pictures before I left of the items I sold that day. This is a great basket from a big box store..jpg)
I sold my Favorite Box #2 template decked out with roses for $5.00 each. They were filled with "homemade" Hershey Nuggets. Too Cute. Of course-Made with my Sizzix Big Shot. You too can own one of these awesome machines-ask me how! I have been blessed and sold 6 of these so far. Love this machine. If you live nearby-Don’t forget that I have classes. I actually have spent more on the Dies and 12X12 Cardstock and Designer Series Paper then I ever thought I would. I am using the stamps I have to deck out my projects. Awesome. If you like to make cards or projects and yes -Scrapbooking-this Big Shot is a Huge help. I have one customer who sold her Machine that is like a bug and got this portable machine instead. The other machine bought-used 3 times in the beginning but after 6 mo. it sat-Dust collector. I have heard this from a couple of other Demonstrators as well. Ok, enough- on with the pictures…..
The next item I sold- Nifty Mini Magazine holders filled with our three neat little scallop notes with envelopes (111336 for $11.95 for 30 cards. Please note-they come with Vanilla envies.). I sold these for $5.00 a pack.
This was a cased idea I found on Sudsol and tweeked to make my own. The card design-mine. Of course-everything sold has the Angel stamps. What is this you ask-Contact me and I will pass all the info on so that you too can sell and be legit!
Here are two more photos showing an old idea that was updated by an Awesome Demonstrator-Dawn Griffith. I sold these for $8 each.
I demonstrated the New Pop-up Cake from Sizzix and had a lot of people ooh and ahhh!!!
I have enclosed the photos of how it looks as you "crush"/ flatten for the mail.
If you are interested in seeing this demonstrated at your workshop or your ready to get this die-Contact me today. Super Cool!

Floral Mother’s Day Cards.
I had a Big Shot Class last Sunday and the idea was to do more with the floral embosslits dies as well as the regular sizzlits. Here are a couple of ideas using the Potted plant card pattern that is floating out there on the internet. My pattern idea came from Sudsol (a Demo only site) and inspired from other web sites and blogs. Here is my idea using Choc.Chip Textured C.S. and Really Rust and Pumpkin Pie C.S. The first idea is of the whole grouping, second pic is a close up of the textured C.S. as well as the vanilla Craft ink and the canvas background stamp.
The next photos show how I put this fun card together. For the base card- 31/2" x 9".

The inside piece that looks like a book mark- 4 1/2" x 2 1/4" and 4 1/4 x 2".

On the base card you fold at 2" x 5 1/2". It will look like a Z fold.
Then use the Scallop border punch.

Now-let’s make that Nifty Potted plant pot shape. Put the card at the 1/2" line and the other side in the middle of the cutting track of your cutting tool. Trim, flip card over and trim out the other side.

Just add a tiny bit of tape to the backside of card-I like to do this to hold my ribbon in place so that I am not fumbling with my ribbon in the front. Of course this idea works wonders for many projects.

Now just add your flowers. For this example I used the Scallop circle punch. Too Cute. Tonight I was the entertainment/crafty segment for a Brownie Troop from Williams Bay. We made these for Mother’s Day project along with the next card idea (they did a Thank You version). Hope you enjoyed my post.
