Halloween Popcorn Treats.
I love making these oh so easy treat pacs. I originally used them for Christmas but realized it’s perfect for all Seasons and all times of the year. Halloween is a Fun Holiday for me and I love the way these turned out. As always-I hope to spark your creativity.
Note-See my Last minute Special at the end of this thread………………………………
Dimensions are 9 1/4" x 7" and scored at the 2 1/4" X 6 1/2". Add sticky strip along inside overlap panel and close. Punch hole with a small punch-I used my Crop-A-Dile tool. Then added a long strip of Ribbon-I used Grosgrain. Open top and place ribbon inside -Will look like a U (loosely) and pull out ribbon ends out opposite sides of paper pack. Then insert microwave popcorn (I used a Mini pack or Personal size). Push down inside-Tie the ribbon on top into a bow or a knot. Sometimes it is helpful to add a note that says Pull Here!!

Add a Gift card to the popcorn inside and make it a Fun Gift! You could could even make this the card or tag of a gift.
My favorite one so far is the Bite one pictured here.

Happy Autumn Sizzix Treat Boxes
Ahh-Fall. It is My favorite Season, truly. I was married in the Fall, had my 2nd child in the Fall, Enjoy the Colors of Fall. It’s just my Favorite time of the year. Plus-those of you that really Know me-It’s when the Geese are Flying that I am Truly in my Element (outside of stamping of course!!!). Plus-with Stampin’ Up!® I can show Awesome creative projects for the Autumn Season as well as Holiday delights. Here is what I gave out this week at two of my Bank Branches and at a Hairdresser/spa shop.
I originally saw the idea at www.megastampinstudio.com . These gals had doubled up on our exclusive Sizzix Fancy Favor Box Die (#115965 for $39.95). Although I did not set it up exactly like they did, they made their box thicker/fatter-I made mine longer. This is a very useful box. This is not just a treat box. Think Weddings, Kids parties, Table decor, whatever! Here is my creative idea.
I used the Dusty Durango C.S.12 x 12 cut in 1/2(you can use the Textured too) and ran each piece through my Big Shot. (Dusty Durango from In-Color 12 x12 4 ea. of 6 colors-$8.95)

Fold boxes inside out-Score lines should be on the inside. Score only the little flaps on both pieces and add sticky strip-#104294 $6.95. Put them-score lines facing each other -inside out boxes-and tape the ends (little Flaps). You want the box to be sturdy too.

Once I pieced it together I added a piece of our white backing "chipboard" that is in every piece of DSP -background paper packs. Or you can just decorate a piece or two of c.s. for the bottom. That makes the lower part of the box sturdy for what you put inside. Now-Not too much weight!

I decorated the sides with Always Artichoke C.S. (#105119 $5.50) and scalloped the edges with our Scallop edge punch (#112091 $15.95). Then I used our Autumn Traditions Designer Series Papers-(#115668 for $9.95). Love this paper. The stamp Set I used for Happy was Happy Everything-(#115235 for $18.95). The Autumn I’m Sorry to say is from a long retired set of the Seasons. If I Love a set that has retired-I keep it. Many sets I do get rid of since I can’t Demo but I do find it it fun to show once in awhile in my Blog for Creative Purpose.

I decorated address labels with a really pretty stamp Set-Leaf Lines-(#114393 for $20.95). I added Itty Bitty Background-The Most used stamp in the set-of All my sets!(#114996 $14.95)

I stamped with Dusty Durango then I used a blender Pen (102845- $9.95)to color in the stamped image-using the ink pad. Just squeeze pad to lid-then open and paint off the lid. I then decorated some Homemade By Hershey Nuggets!!! This is A GREAT IDEA for parties, Weddings, etc. It’s Quick, Cheap but most of all-A Really Nifty Idea people enjoy.

Ta-Dah!! Add some foo foo or shredded paper or basket accent stuff, food goodies using our bags-(#103104- 50 for $3.95) and you have a unique gift that people will love. Enjoy and Happy Autumn to you!
My Craft Events for the last 2 weeks.
Hi there. I know-one minute it is Sept 1st and the next-it’s Sept. 13th!!!! This is what I have been up to. August 30th was the Baby Expo at Hawks View Golf Course. A Lucky Winner got the Gift Basket worth $40.
The next event was a Shared Booth with Demonstrator Robyn Scherzer and her group from Elkhorn WI. One of my gals from my group -Beth Ostrander-who did a Shoebox Swap with Robyn’s group passed the on the info about this opportunity. All the ideas on the board were from Convention swaps along with all the close ups. One of my Favorite pieces is this Cool Halloween Box that Robyn received from a WOW swap. Really Fun! All of our samples combined made for a Very attractive Display. Beth and I split the hours with the Elkhorn group and it went very well. Each of us had several 4 hour shifts and changed out our Door Prize forms and books etc. I did bring old sets for sale during my time. It was the FIRST time that STAMPIN’ UP!® was represented at this 160 year old Fair. Enjoy!
